Tomisin Sandra OBELE is a compassionate and experienced counsellor, dedicated to empowering individual student to reach their full potential and overcome life's challenges. She is skilled in creating a safe, non-judgmental space for self-discovery and growth.
She is experienced in providing comprehensive guidance and support in academic achievement, social-emotional development, and college/career readiness. She has a collaborative mindset of partnering with students, parents, and educators to promote students’ success, well-being, and lifelong learning. She is a licensed school counsellor with over nine years of experience supporting diverse student populations in specialties as academic advising and planning, social-emotional learning and mindfulness, crisis intervention and response, college and career exploration and Parent-Teacher-Student collaboration.
She holds a B.Ed in Physics, Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling, Masters of Education in Guidance and Counselling and currently undergoing her PhD Specializing in Educational Psychology in University of the Free State, South Africa.
Her philosophy is to empower individuals to find their inner strength and resilience, fostering a culture of self-awareness, acceptance, and compassion.
