Dr. Oyesode Sogo Abiola is a built environment professional with 8 years of academic teaching experience at Caleb University Lagos, Nigeria combined with 16 years of field industry experience in architecture, construction, facility and project management services. His industry field expertise cuts across architectural design documentation, BIM Implementation, structural and MEP coordination, operations and maintenance, project planning/scheduling, budgeting, cost management, risk management, commercial negotiation, contract management, construction supervision, team leadership, quality control,
and ensuring adherence to safety standards. He has demonstrated the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, resulting in on-time and on-budget delivery of diverse range of projects. In academics, he is proven to deliver engaging and impactful courses, fostering a 98% student satisfaction rate. He has experience in merging industry insights with pedagogy for enriched learning and with a proven track record of leveraging cutting-edge tools like AutoCAD, Revit BIM Tool, Enscape, and Microsoft Projects to enhance design visualization, documentation, project planning, and execution. He is committed to nurturing the next generation of built environment professionals while continually contributing his quota to realizing a sustainable built environment. He is a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Project Management Institute (PMI), Association of Facility Management Practitioners of Nigeria (AFMPN). He is also a registered facility manager (RFM) . He holds a PhD degree in Architecture with focus on Building Information Modelling (BIM)
