I am Dr. Olayinka Babatunde Adebogun, I was employed as an assistant lecturer in February, 18th, 2016 at the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Caleb University, Imota, Lagos and ascended  via appointment to the position of a  senior lecturer in the same Department in December, 14th, 2023 . My early academic pursuit started in Methodist Primary School, Imota, Lagos State between 1986-1991 where I obtained my first Leaving School certificate. Thereafter, I proceeded my secondary school education  into Imota Community Grammar School, ( ICGS) and obtained my secondary school certificate  between 1992-1997.  I attended Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos  between 2003-2004 academic session and bagged a Bachelor of Science degree honour with a second class upper division and graduated in the year 2010. I served the country as a National Youth service corps Member between year 2010-2011  in Niger State, Raba, Magama Local Government precisely and bagged a Certificate of National Service in 5th, July, 2011. Immediately after my service year as youth corps member, I proceeded to further my academic career to pursue a Master of Science Degree in Political Science with specialization in Public administration. During my service year as a youth corps member, between 2010-2011, I participated as an ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) during the  Voter Registration Exercise and the conduct of 2011 General Elections proper.  I finally bagged a master of science Degree certificate in Political Science with specialization in Public administration. My experience as an ad-hoc staff of INEC  and my passion for  quality education enabled me to applied for Doctoral programme in Political Science with  specialization in Public Administration and focus on the topic: Voter Participation and Democratic Consolidation in Nigeria,  with commitment, hard work and perseverance, I was able to obtained a certificate as a Ph.D holder in Political Science with specialization in Public Administration in  29th, June, 2022.
