Michael Chinweike Chigbundu is a dedicated and certified librarian with a robust background in library and information science. He holds a Master of Information Science, a Bachelor of Library and Information Studies from the University of Ibadan, and currently running a PhD program in Information Systems at the University of Ibadan, all contributing to his deep knowledge of information management and digital library systems. As a Certified Librarian of Nigeria (CLN), he has worked extensively in library administration, cataloguing, and classification, specializing in using the Library of Congress and Moys classification systems.

Michael currently serves as an Academic Librarian at Caleb University Library, Lagos, where he supports staff and students through resource management, information retrieval, and personalized assistance. His prior roles at Caleb University include serving as Acting Law Librarian, and participating in a library digitization project at the University of Ibadan sponsored by Office of Global AIDS/U.S. Department of State, which equipped him with strong expertise in library digitization and metadata management.

His commitment to advancing libraries is also reflected in his scholarly works. Michael has published in several academic journals, including studies on information-seeking behavior, digital literacy, and e-learning. He has contributed chapters to books focusing on library digitization, access, and preservation, highlighting the evolving role of libraries in the digital age. His professional development includes active participation in conferences and workshops across Nigeria, focusing on digital economy, emerging technologies, and data literacy in library services.
