Dr Sanmi Johnson Ibidapo is a Psychologist, an astute scholar and a development expert, with over 14 years of experience in Development work.
Dr Ibidapo holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Ado Ekiti. He holds a Master's degree in Social/Industrial Psychology, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Social Psychology, both, from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
As an astute researcher and academic, he has published in different journals, both local and international. His research interest is in the psychology of corruption. For him, research into the psychology of corruption remains one of the major ways he continues to make his contributions to national development. He believes in the future of Nigeria, where development ideals are prioritized and corruption is anathema.
As a practising Psychologist, he provides psychotherapeutic support to many and organizes free therapy sessions for different categories of persons, both within and outside Nigeria.
As a Development Expert, he consults for Civil Society Organisations and Non-Governmental Organisations; he has led and participated in several capacity-building programs and Training of Trainer interventions across different States in Nigeria. He has also been involved in multiple advocacies in Nigeria, focusing on Transparency, Accountability and Good Governance, across sectors.
Dr Ibidapo is a conference speaker and leader. He is currently the Lead Steward and Chairman, Board of Trustees/Stewards of People of Substance Global Outreach, a faith-Based organisation that organises crusades in the hinterlands and campuses with focus on raising godly youths who will transform the nation. He is married with children.
