Dr Isibor Areghan is a Senior Lecturer and researcher in the Department of Accounting, Finance, and Taxation, Caleb University, Imota. He is also the coordinator of Caleb Business School, Magodo, Lagos State. He obtained his PhD in Finance from Covenant University in 2018 and his major area of specialization is Development Finance. He has over 10 years teaching experiences in areas like Corporate Finance, Public Finance, Pension Fund Management, and Bank Regulation. His research areas in development finance include financial technology (FINTECH), bank management, electronic banking, stock market development, monetary and fiscal policies, and financial and economic development. One major reason for his specializing in development finance is to find out how Nigeria can achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 8 of Innovation and economic growth. He has over 20 publications in the finance field and has attended several conferences both local and international. He is a member of The Academy management of Nigeria (TAMN) and he is happily married.
