I am a dedicated microbiologist, currently serving as a Lecturer at Caleb University, Lagos, Nigeria, in the Department of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology. I hold a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Olabisi Onabanjo University and an M.Sc. in Environmental Microbiology from Babcock University, where I am also pursuing my Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology.
I have over a decade of experience in both academic and professional settings. I have contributed to laboratory management and undergraduate teaching. My teaching portfolio spans several microbiology courses, showcasing my commitment to education and mentorship. I have supervised numbers of undergraduate seminars and research projects, reflecting my dedication to developing future scientists.
My research interests focus on microbial ecology, environmental microbiology, public health, and antimicrobial resistance, with several publications in reputable journals. I am a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigeria Society for Microbiology (NSM), the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) and Biotechnology Society of Nigeria, among others.
I am actively involved in community service and outreach, particularly supporting the hearing-impaired community. Outside academia, i enjoy teaching American and Nigerian sign language, blending my professional and personal passions seamlessly.
