Odukoya Olusoji Olumide

Dr, Odukoya, Olusoji Olumide is a 2021 PhD Accounting graduate of the Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He is currently the Deputy Dean of College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences (CASMAS) at Caleb University, (CUL), in Nigeria. He was Deputy Dean at Caleb business School (CBS) between 2022 to 2024. Dr Odukoya serves on the Students Welfare and Disciplinary, Sports, and the Timetable and Examination Committees of CUL. Dr Odukoya is currently, the 300 level Course advisor at the Accounting unit of the Accounting, Finance and Taxation department. He teaches: Enterprise Risk Management, Auditing 1, Cost Accounting, Accounting Theory, Auditing, Assurance and Investigation, International Accounting, Forensic Accounting and Fraud Management on both campuses of Caleb at Imota and Magodo at graduate and post graduate levels. He has and currently supervises projects and dissertations at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. He has participated and presented papers at local and International conferences, Dr Odukoya has published in Scopus indexed and high impact pair- reviewed journals and also a book chapter contributor.

Outside academics, Dr Odukoya, a Chartered Accountant, Stockbroker and Tax Practitioner is a member of the Board of the Lagos Lagos Chamber of Commerce International Arbitration Centre (LACIAC). He is a member Of the Board of Governors of DOWEN College, Lagos. He served as Director of Examinations, Deputy Registrar and Acting Registrar Chief Executive at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) between July 2004 and 2015. He also served as Acting Director General – Chartered Institute of Director (CIoD) between October 2016 and March 2017, before proceeding to Malaysia for a PhD. He has over 38 years of varied industrial, professional practice and academic practice experience.
