Professor Charles Chijioke Nwachukwu is a professor of film and media studies in the department of Mass Communication, Caleb University, Imota, Lagos. He holds the bachelor's, master's and ph.d degrees of the prestigious University of Ibadan.

Prior to joining Caleb University as a full time academic he had spent over a decade and half in the industry, spanning advertising, marketing services, broadcasting and communication consultancy. He rose to become a top management staff before deciding to go into full time academics.

Professor Nwachukwu teaches and supervised students from the undergraduate level to the doctoral level. His commitment to emphasizing praxis over and above pedagogue positions him uniquely.
