Dr. Atinuke Olubukade Akintayo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication, College of Art, Social and Management Studies, Caleb University, Imota, Lagos State. Dr. Akintayo is a Communication Scholar with specialization in Broadcasting and Development Communication. Atinuke Akintayo is an experienced Broadcast Journalist, erudite Media Researcher, a Media Consultant and a Public Relations Practitioner. Dr. Atinuke Akintayo has over 20 years cognate experience in Mass Communication practice. Akintayo has been involved in rural development programmes for teenage girls, women and children in rural communities in Nigeria. Dr. Akintayo who prides herself in amplifying voices of the voiceless and encouraging positive changes in communities, is an Associate Fellow of the African Academics Network (AAN), Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Member of the Association of Communication Scholars of Nigeria(ACSPN). She has written several articles in reputable local and international Journals.
